Before each episode
Lingo introduces the place and your goal in English, so you always know what you’re trying to do. When you tap Start, he walks you through your first few questions and shows how hints work.
During the conversation
Once the episode begins, Lingo steps back. You talk with one character, in the language you’re practicing, until you reach the goal.
What Lingo doesn’t do
Lingo is a fictional guide, not a teacher. He can’t change your account, take payments or contact us for you. For a phrase, use a hint. For anything else, this help center has the answer.
