Set yourself up
Find a quiet spot where you feel comfortable speaking, and talk at your normal volume. You don’t need a perfect accent. The characters are patient, and there’s no score.
If the character misunderstands
Try a shorter phrase, check the caption to see what was heard or tap “I’m stuck” for a hint. If the character can’t hear you at all, see Allow your microphone.
Two phrases worth knowing
In Spanish, Un momento, por favor means “One moment, please,” and Más despacio, por favor means “More slowly, please.” Each language has its own versions, and they’re worth learning first.
